What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Maintenance Manager position at Embassy Suites?
Looking for an Assistant Maintenance Manager who is ready to take ownership of large projects and assist the Chief Engineer with overseeing the maintenance team at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Jacksonville Baymeadows.
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes :
- A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a related field.
- Experience in maintaining, troubleshooting and / or repairing boilers, chillers, cooling towers, fan coil units, plumbing, pool & spa, etc.
- License(s) for the following areas - Pool (CPO), plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
- Ability to conduct hands on training and supervise the maintenance team.
- Service First" mindset and sets the example of guest service for the team.
- Demonstrate an attitude of cooperation and helpfulness at all times and have vested interest in the success of the hotel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist in team lifts as needed.
- Full flexibility to work on days, nights, weekends and holidays as requested.
