We seek a detail-oriented and highly experienced Senior Accountant to manage and oversee key financial processes, ensure accurate reporting, and support decision-making by providing financial insights. The ideal candidate will have extensive accounting experience and play a critical role in maintaining our financial health.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Budgeting and Forecasting:Assist in preparing the annual budget and monthly forecasts, collaborating with department heads to track financial performance.
- Financial Analysis:Analyze financial data and trends to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making.
- Supervision: Mentor accounting staff as needed and provide guidance in day-to-day accounting activities.
Cross Trained and Backup Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting:Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
- General Ledger Management:Oversee the general ledger, ensure all entries are accurate, and make adjustments as needed.
- Reconciliations:Perform and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred).
- 5-7 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on general ledger and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Quickbooks, as well as advanced Excel skills.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities, with experience managing or mentoring a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Advanced certifications (CPA or CMA).
- Experience with the video game or entertainment industry is a plus.

- This position reports to our operations team lead.
- This position is a full-time onsite role in Orange, CA.
The range for this position is $85,000 - $100,000 USD.
