What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-House Recruiter position at Ember LifeSciences?
We are seeking an in-house Recruiter to find and attract candidates whose talents are aligned with Ember LifeSciences’ business goals. This role will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and recommending potential candidates for placement across several departments. A successful recruiter will support the development of recruiting plans, sourcing strategies and resources, and new, creative recruiting ideas. This role will also have the opportunity to manage certain HR activities.
BS/BA degree or equivalent required.
At least 2 years of full life cycle recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated experience in partnering effectively with various departments and all organizational levels.
Strong sourcing, interviewing, negotiating, and closing skills.
Ability to develop creative hiring strategies and execute within deadlines.
Solid understanding of how to recruit for a variety of different positions simultaneously.
Highly organized, detail oriented and analytical.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong decision-making skills and ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Proven relationship building skills and ability to foster teamwork.
Demonstrated resourcefulness and initiative in dealing with daily expectations.
General knowledge of various employment laws and practices.
Skilled in database management and record keeping.
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems and resume databases.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
The salary range for this role is $80,000 ~ $100,000 per year. Actual compensation packages within that range are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and specific location.
This role is expected to work from Ember LifeSciences Westlake Village, CA office at least 4 days per week.
