Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Busser to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an exceptional dining experience by maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant. As a Busser, you will assist servers and kitchen staff, contributing to the overall efficiency of our service.
Responsibilities
- Clear and clean tables promptly after guests leave to prepare for the next customers.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down dining areas for service, including arranging chairs and tables as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the restaurant floor, including sweeping and mopping as required.
- Refill water glasses and assist servers with food delivery when necessary.
- Help with the organization of utensils, glassware, and dishware in the kitchen area.
- Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth service flow.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the food service environment.
Skills
- Previous experience in bussing or similar roles within the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on hospitality and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
- A proactive attitude towards helping others in the kitchen and dining areas.
