Ember is a software company offering a SaaS solution to the fire inspection industry. We are a team of 30 company employees and are based out of San Francisco & Austin. In 2023 we gained our first customer and have been growing rapidly ever since! With our growth and excellent product market fit we are looking to expand our team!
What We Are Looking For:

The SDR will identify and qualify leads, contact potential clients through cold calls and emails, and set up meetings between prospects and Account Executives. The role involves collaboration with the sales team and aims to meet lead generation targets while building knowledge of the company's products and industry. This position requires a blend of strong cold calling skills, strategic thinking, active listening, ability to be organized, a knack for creativity, excellent communication skills, and a passion for selling.

- Contact prospective clients through cold calls and emails
- Make 60 cold calls a day
- Qualify leads based on predefined criteria
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for engaging and nurturing leads
- Set qualified meetings between prospective clients and Account Executives
- Continuously learn about our products, services, and industry trends to effectively communicate with prospects.
- Achieve weekly, monthly and quarterly lead generation and appointment-setting targets.
- Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage sales executives in next steps
- Identify best practices for refining the company’s lead-generation playbook
- Ability to work in our Austin office
- Strong work ethic and drive
- Ability to handle rejection and persevere
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus
- Previous cold calling experience is a plus
- Coach-ability and a team focused mindset
- Creative problem-solving approach and strong analytical skills
