The Opportunity

Our Trimmer Technicians will assist the Operations Management team with the manicuring of all dried cannabis flower prior to the production stage of our product lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be punctual, trustworthy, have strong attention to detail and have flexibility with ongoing working schedules. This jobs schedule will be consistently fluctuating based on harvest & curing schedules. Having a positive mindset and be able to communicate clearly and effectively is critical.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

These include, but are not limited to, the following:

Daily Tasks:

  • Manicure dried cannabis flowers to satisfy department standards of appearance and overall quality
  • Adapt to varying strains, styles, and types of marijuana being trimmed
  • Adjust techniques to maintain a steady pace without sacrificing the quality of output
  • Work with Inventory Assistants to communicate your daily output including processed plant counts.
  • Assist in the sanitization, organization, and proper storage of all tools
  • Observe and maintain all safety procedures and protocols

Ongoing & Bi-Weekly Tasks:

  • Completion of bi-weekly directives & weight goals:
  • Fulfill assigned responsibilities in line with procedures set forth by all department Standard Operating Procedures and subsequent training.
  • Demonstrate a clear comprehension of quality control guidelines, checkpoints, categories, and responsibilities.
  • Exhibit ability to take constructive criticism from management to maintain quality standards and production goals

Who you are:

  • Must be 21 or over
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)/equivalent preferred but not required
  • Flexible work schedule required; to include covering a vacant shift and/or facility issues in emergency situations as needed.
  • Ability to listen well and communicate effectively orally and in writing
  • Ability to use initiative and independent judgment appropriately
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and management.
  • Ability to be flexible and work in various sectors of the department or company as needed and/or requested by their direct supervisor.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time while maintaining focus.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, pull and balance up to 50 lbs. and must be able to do so with extreme care and caution when working with plants and products.
  • Must be able to tolerate dusty, strong-smelling marijuana odors, any noise created by packaging machinery, and be able to tolerate exposure to the product.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to perform grasping, walking, talking, hearing, seeing, standing, sitting, bending, twisting, and repetitive motions

Work Environment

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts.
  • The employee is frequently exposed to herbal aromas, dust, and/or airborne particles.
