To be a successful Adoption Support Worker you must become able to do the following always:
- Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for staff and those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
- Provide services that result in timely and safe achievement of company and state outcomes relevant to the position.?
- Assist the Adoption Case Manager with making referrals, monthly contacts, and ensuring documentation is complete.
- Assist families with identifying, locating, and accessing basic resources and community support systems.
- Assist in matching adoptive families with children eligible for adoption.?
- Support adoptive homes and ensure all required trainings, documentation, and background checks are completed.?
- Transport children and families. Travel in state to assure client-family contact as needed.
- Follow Company Policy and Procedure and operate according to the Company’s Program Practice Guidelines.
