To be a successful Children’s Behavioral Interventionist (CBI) you must be willing and become able to do the following always:
- Ensure a trauma informed focus on creating a safe and supportive environment for those served through knowledge, sensitivity, respect, and a focus on resilience and recovery.
- Work in the Therapeutic Family Foster Home (TFFH) where the child/youth reside.
- Provide one-on-one services to the child/youth with neuro-developmental activities for individuals/families that are struggling with behavioral and emotional management issues as established in a person-centered treatment plan.
- Assist with ensuring the goals for the child/youth including live safely in the home setting and increase their behavioral function appropriately in daily living activities are achieved.
- Maintain strong, open communication with caregivers of clients to ensure service efficacy and approval of agenda and activities during shifts. Adhere to family routines and structure, as established.
- Follow EmberHope Youthvilles’s Policy and Procedures and operate according to the Employee Handbook and the Clinical Services Handbook.
- Develop knowledge of CBI and TFFH standards.
- Maintain timely documentation in agency electronic health record.
- Provide direct supervision to client at all times. Provide direction, coaching, and approved intervention strategies at all times.
- Maintain Behavioral Management Certification

- 5% Meeting Participation & Trainings
