To be a successful Peer Youth Advocate you must become able to do the following always:
1. Operates according to the Handbook for Successful Peer Youth Advocacy.
2. Functions within Agency’s policies and procedures.
3. Operates within budget.
4. Achieves positive discharge outcomes for youth.
How you will spend your time in this job:
· 65% Advocating for youth with leadership, staff, stakeholders, and community partners.
· 15% Advising on program practices and policies.
· 10% Meetings and trainings
· 10% Client Advisory Board
