To be a successful Professional Success Coach I you must be willing and become able to do the following always:
- Models and teaches youth the knowledge and skills they will need to successfully exit the facility and live in a community setting by using a trauma informed approach focused on resiliency and recovery.
- Helps youth self-manage their behavior by using SCM (Safe Crisis Management) without the need for the use of emergency safety interventions
- Achieves positive discharge outcomes for youth.
- Follow Company Policies and Procedure as outlined in the Employee Handbook and the Guide to Successfully Manage the Milieu.
How you will spend your time in this job:
· 70% Models for and teaches youth the knowledge and skills needed to return to a community setting
· 20% Maintain and prepare records/documentation
· 10% Participation in supervision, agency-wide and staff meetings.
