What are the responsibilities and job description for the Treasury Management Officer position at Embers Credit Union?
As the Treasury Management Officer, you will play a critical role in expanding and strengthening Embers’ Treasury Management portfolio. You will drive business growth by soliciting new clients, increasing product adoption and deposit balances within existing relationships, and managing Treasury Management products. You’ll work closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and branch staff to identify opportunities and provide tailored financial solutions to meet the needs of business clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES WE’LL TRUST YOU WITH:
Develop and Grow Business Relationships – Identify and engage prospective business clients, educating them on Embers’ deposit offerings and Treasury Management solutions and building strong, long-term relationships. This includes occasional travel to Embers branch locations to meet with prospective clients and assess needs.
Increase Treasury Product Adoption – Promote the adoption of Treasury Management products and services within existing business relationships to maximize their value.
Manage Treasury Product Portfolio – Oversee Treasury Management products, ensuring they are effectively integrated within ongoing client relationships and aligned with business banking needs.
Consult and Advise Clients – Act as a trusted advisor, assessing client needs and recommending appropriate Treasury Management solutions.
Collaborate with Commercial Lending Team and Branch Staff – Work closely with Commercial Relationship Managers and branch staff to identify Treasury Management opportunities and support comprehensive client solutions.
Support Client Onboarding and Implementation – Ensure seamless onboarding of Treasury Management services, providing guidance and support for a smooth transition.
Monitor and Optimize Client Relationships – Conduct periodic relationship reviews, identifying opportunities for additional services and ensuring continued client satisfaction.
Stay Ahead of Industry Trends – Keep up with developments in Treasury Management, cash management, and business banking to enhance Embers’ offerings.
Ensure Compliance and Risk Management – Adhere to regulatory requirements and internal policies related to Treasury Management services.
Other Duties as Assigned – Support Embers’ business banking objectives with additional responsibilities as needed.

AREAS OF KNOWLEDGE & EXPERTISE:
Education: A college degree or equivalent experience. Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred.
Experience & Knowledge:
1-3 years of experience in Treasury Management, Commercial Banking, Sales or other relevant field.
Understanding of Treasury Management products, including ACH, wire transfers, remote deposit capture, fraud protection tools, and other cash management services.
Experience assessing financial needs and recommending appropriate solutions.
Skills & Abilities:
Strong relationship-building and consultative sales skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tailor financial solutions to business client needs.
Proficiency in banking systems, Treasury Management platforms, and digital financial tools.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.

Pay: $21.05 - $31.57 per hour
