What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Director position at Embrace Life Inc?
Embrace Life Inc is looking for a Program Director to join our team. This Director will be responsible for the coordination of tasks affiliated with the launch of new child care centers and programs as our company grows. This role will be someone who has a desire to move quickly and enjoys the challenge of multitasking and establishing new centers from the bottom up.
They will align with the Regional Manager on the center supervision, coordinating and evaluating the center's activities and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong Christian moral compass, a background in child care/development, experience providing high quality services, and knowledge of applicable regulatory requirements. This elevated role will also serve as a trusted collaborator to the Executive Leadership team and a member of the Strategic Board. Our new facilities will primarily support Head Start MSHS expansions. Familiarity with the Head Start programs is preferred.

Experience & Skills
1. Recent experience as a daycare center director
2. Experience managing timelines
3. High availability, innovative & responsive
4. Experience with DCFS (interactions with their representatives, familiar with typical approvals and audits)
5. Background with billing and filing for subsidy pay
6. Experience with Learning and Christian Curriculum
7. Flexibility to work remote and travel upon most urgent priorities
8. Ability to self-manage and execute with a high degree of excellence and organization
9. Teaching: 1 year (preferred)
10. Childcare: 1 year (required)
Qualifications
- Early Education Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
- 2 years of high quality Director experience preferred.
- Child Development Associate Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
1. Trusted collaborator with the Executive Leadership Team and member of the Strategic Board
2. Startup daycare operations
3. Advisory position to hiring, training, supervising, and managing schedules of daycare Staff
4. Advisory position to the development of curriculum programs and standards
5. Ensure accuracy and organization of all student and staff files
6. Advisory position to current staff that develop and maintain parent/caretaker rapport
7. Startup liaison of licensing and facility management including but not limited to DCFS Licensing, inspections, permits, compliance and maintenance
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $32.00 per hour
