We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to support our marketing and customer engagement initiatives by managing and enhancing Salesforce integrations, automating workflows, and creating impactful email/SMS campaigns. A major focus of this role will be developing and maintaining APIs to connect data from internal systems and third-party platforms to Salesforce, as well as resolving tickets related to email/SMS development and integrations.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement integrated marketing automation solutions and data integration strategies using the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform, .NET, and Azure technologies.
- Manage Salesforce Marketing Cloud integrations with external systems, data sources, and APIs, while ensuring data quality and maintaining data governance standards.
- Develop and maintain Data Extensions, Segments, and Smart Capture Forms to support targeted marketing campaigns.
- Stay up to date with the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, releases, trends in digital marketing, Azure development, and email marketing best practices.
- Leverage your strong experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud Interactions and APIs, AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, .NET, and Azure for data manipulation and integration.
- Collaborate with marketing, sales, and other stakeholders to optimize marketing automation, CRM systems, and various communication processes.
- Mentor other developers and team members on Salesforce development best practices, .NET, Azure, and functionality.
- Design, develop, and maintain interfaces, APIs, and integrations between Salesforce, Azure, and external systems, leveraging ETL tools to support data workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC), Agile, and SCRUM methodologies.
- Proven experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud development, integration, and management, ideally within a marketing team or agency environment.
- Expertise in API integration, messaging services, data extension implementation, and validation API setup in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Proficient in .NET, Azure, JavaScript, SSJS, or Ampscript, and familiar with web services (JSON and XML) for system integrations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- A commitment to staying current with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in marketing automation, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, .NET, and Azure.
