VALOR - CASE MANAGER
The Case Manager is responsible for an assigned caseload of dually diagnosed, justice involved individuals needing mental health competency restoration supports. The Valor Program is a statewide program designed for clients who need or have a history of needing forensic and competency restoration services. The primary responsibilities will be to provide direct care services to restore competency by assessing treatment needs, developing, monitoring, evaluating treatment plans and progress, and facilitating interdisciplinary approaches. This role requires good judgement and flexibility in responding to crisis to follow up with supportive services to participants, provide focus and directed oversight, communication, and coordination. This is a 24 / 7 program and may require night and weekend coverage for the safety and well-being of all clients residing in the facility. Shifts may change to meet the requirements of daily operations. May be required to travel to attend limited meetings with contracting agencies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
EDUCATION / WORK EXPERIENCE :
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university with a major in psychology, sociology, social work, counseling, or other related human services field required.
