Job Description : The Daytona Beach Flight department is seeking to hire a part-time staff Flight Supervisor to oversee and ensure the safe and efficient operation of flight training activities. The part-time Flight Supervisor is will primarily support flight operations by supervising students during flight training, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and providing guidance and assistance to flight instructors. The part-time Flight Supervisor will collaborate with the various Flight Department personnel to maintain the high standards expected of our flight program.
Job Responsibilities Include :
- Constantly monitor the weather and sets the Pilot Qualification.
- Monitors all ERAU ramp and in flight activities and is the point of contact for any in flight questions, issues, or emergencies.
- Monitor the ERAU Aircraft Ramp Security / Safety and the physical security of the training fleet of aircraft.
- Checks certificates, documents, qualifications, flight planning, and provides solo briefing before solo students, Flight Team, IP Rentals go on their flight.
- Management requests / approvals.
- Verify Restricted Area status and update Flight Ops Admin.
- Prepare Daily Flight Supervisor Logs and pass down reports.
- Constantly monitor and evaluate all flight operations.
- Issue Visitor Ramp Badges.
- Responsible for ETA Qualifications and management duties.
- Ensures office supplies are adequately stocked.
The shifts for this position are 0500-1500 or 1400-0000, seven days a week.
