The Print Production Operations Assistant Manager plays a key role in overseeing daily production duties related to large format printing, flatbed printing, production layout, and materials management. This position is responsible for producing various items such as banners, vinyls, stickers, yard signs, foam core board prints, flatbed printing, large posters, and vehicle wraps across the Daytona, WWHQ, and Prescott campuses.
The Assistant Manager is also responsible for identifying software and production strategies that optimize production times. Additionally, the role involves troubleshooting and resolving production issues to ensure smooth and efficient print operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Large Format Production:
- Oversee the production of banners, stickers, vehicle wraps, posters, yard signs, foam core boards, cut lettering, and large stadium signage.
- Manage materials required for production and ensure quality control throughout the production process.
Problem Solving & Quality Control:
- Troubleshoot and resolve any printing or production issues, including managing print profiles, ink flow, and print head issues.
- Ensure production layouts meet quality standards and perform regular quality control checks.
Machine Maintenance & Software Upgrades:
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure that all machines are operating efficiently.
- Coordinate software upgrades to improve production processes and ensure that all systems are up to date.
Qualifications
Education & Training:
- Associate's degree or completion of an 18 month program post-high school in Graphic Arts, Printing, or Large Format Production.
- Preferred certifications in Adobe Suite, color theory knowledge, and color manipulation skills.
Technical Skills & Software Knowledge:
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite, VersaWorks, ImagePRO Graph, Top Jet, and Onyx software.

Operational expertise with equipment such as:
- Roland LEF 300
- Roland VG-640
- Fluid Color 4' x 8' flatbed printer
- RSC 165 laser cutter
- Canon 8400 printer
Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of work-related experience in Creative/Marketing, Print Shop, Vinyl Shop, or Graphic Design.
- Extensive knowledge of graphic design, file layout, file output, preflighting, trapping files, and creating vector files.
- Ability to work effectively under high-pressure deadlines while maintaining high production quality standards.
