What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shuttle Driver - Part-Time position at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University?
Shuttledrivers provide safe, efficient transportation of ERAU personnel between various campus locations during daily operating hours of 0500-2400. Responsibilities may include:
- Driving scheduledshuttleroutes between various ERAU campus & flight operation locations
- On-call pickups at various ERAU campus & flight operation locations
- Assisting Flight Operations personnel in securing aircraft during inclement weather or closing of operations
- Special assignments to include long-distance trips, VIP transportation, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by on-duty supervisor.
Required Education:
High school (or GED) level ability in spelling, grammar, basic composition, and math.
Required licenses, certificates, and /or security clearances:
Valid Arizona driver's license. Has to have a good driving record. No moving violations within 2 years. Also no reckless driving or DUI violations ever. Must be at least 20 years of age per insurance requirements.
