Job Description:
We are seeking talented and energetic teachers to lead engaging and interactive classes for toddlers, preschoolers, and, in some cases, babies along with their caregivers. The ideal candidate will have a background in dance, movement, music, or visual arts and a passion for making learning fun and creative for young children.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver imaginative, age-appropriate classes that integrate theater, music, movement, or visual arts.
- Lead engaging activities for toddlers and preschoolers, with some sessions involving babies and their caregivers.
- Foster a joyful and inclusive environment where creativity and exploration are encouraged.
- Communicate effectively with caregivers and collaborate with team members to create meaningful learning experiences.
Qualifications:
Candidates must have:
- Experience working with young children in group settings, such as classes, camps, or daycare programs.
- A background in one or more of the following areas:
- Dance or movement: Ability to lead activities emphasizing rhythm, expression, and physical movement.
- Instrumental skills or singing: Proficiency in playing an instrument or leading songs to engage and inspire young learners.
- Theater or visual arts: Experience creating imaginative and interactive artistic activities for children.
- A playful, energetic, and fun-loving personality, with a comfort for being silly and connecting with children.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
