Creates new and updates existing content impacting EMC underwriting from both internal and external sources. Reviews and interprets Actuarial and Underwriting updates to ensure accurate updates of filed manual rates, rules and forms across all jurisdictions and lines of business. Creates and verifies PDF files for publication and processes state filing fees and NAIC payments. Serves as the primary contact for content on the ReferenceConnect platform including adding and updating rules and forms, ensuring accuracy and readability and maintaining current company content. Identifies and reports on all submitted and approved filings for each branch on a weekly basis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Creates new and updates existing internal EMC underwriting content and information such as company exceptions to ISO rules, rates for all lines of business, and proprietary EMC rules and forms.
- Creates and updates content that impacts EMC from external underwriting sources such as adopted ISO rules, rates, and forms, NCCI rules, rates and forms, AAIS rules, rates, and forms, and individual bureau content rate, rules, and forms.
- Integrates internal underwriting content with external content (such as National Council on Compensation Insurance (NCCI) and Insurance Services Office (ISO)) for delivery on a single platform (ReferenceConnect), which includes meta-tagging and HTML conversion.
- Updates platform to show all applicable rates, rules and forms being utilized from the ISO.
- Serves as the primary contact for content on the ReferenceConnect platform including adding and updating rules and forms, ensuring accuracy and readability and maintaining current company content.
- Reviews and interprets Actuarial and Underwriting updates to ensure accurate updates of filed manual rates, rules and forms across all jurisdictions and lines of business.
- Designs templates, creates tables, headers, footers, graphics and merges material from multiple files.
- Completes necessary edits for state and line of business revisions. Verifies formatting accuracy in completed manuals and forms, including manual revision notices, page numbers, column and page breaks, outline structure, bookmarked headings, and links.
- Creates and publishes PDF files on DocNet, ensuring bookmarks and form links function correctly.
- Moves files promptly based on effective or written dates and filing status. Consults with affected individuals, researches issues, determines corrective actions, and resolves problems.
- Processes requests for checks and electronic fund transfers for state filing fees and NAIC payments.
- Identifies and reports on filings submitted and approved for each branch. Sends out a weekly filing details report to designated branch representatives.
