- Maintain a "Big Picture" view of calendar regarding technician scheduling in order to assign real time and future technician jobs.
- Always aware of the Central Virginia territory and changes that may occur: IE. Directions, zip codes, local terminology, additional routes, etc. which may influence the timeliness of a Technician's response time.
- Continually exhibit a positive, customer service mentality with both internal and external customers.
- Remain confident in their ability to make the correct decision when determining Technician call order and stops.
- Positively contribute to the culture and overall success of the company and department.
- Communicate with technicians regularly to keep on track with the progress of the job.
- Communicate with customers to address their needs and make sure that all issues are addressed expeditiously and professionally.
What You'll Bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience with service dispatch is beneficial.
- Previous exposure to the plumbing or HVAC trades or a similar business is preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to quickly learn utilized software and processes.
- Team player with a desire to contribute to the overall success of the company.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; Including excellent telephone Skills.
- Experience with a multi-line telephone system.
- Fluent English-speaking and writing skills.
- Upbeat personality with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Organized, detail oriented, able to handle a variety of tasks in a simultaneous manner.
- Must be an independent thinker - "Go Getter" mentality exhibiting Initiative to make decisions and trust your instincts.
