About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at EMCOR Facilities Services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality workmanship and high work standards to maintain a professional working environment.
Primary responsibilities include responding to and providing service and feedback to the customer on any building operational concerns, as well as performing general maintenance of equipment as required.
You will possess knowledge of and be capable of performing minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, electrical, flooring, and various general tasks assigned.
Responsibilities:
- Abides by all safety guidelines, including OSHA regulations, lock-out/tag-out, etc.
- Conducts regular checks of systems and equipment to identify issues and document performance.
- Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment competently.
- Communicates effectively with the client Facility Manager to determine service needs and reports any operational concerns.
Requirements:
- High School diploma (or equivalent) required. 2 years of training through an accredited trade school or college; certificate/degree preferred.
- 3-5 years previous facilities maintenance experience and/or training required. An equivalent combination of training, education, and maintenance experience is acceptable.
- Must have an Active Security Clearance OR the ability to obtain a secret clearance to qualify for position.
