Job Title: Part-Time Pool Service Technician (ECM)
Job Summary: ECM Holding Company has opportunities for Part Time Pool Technicians in Honolulu, Hawaii. A Part-Time Pool Service Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper functioning of swimming pools.
The work schedule operates on a monthly cycle: working only the first 2 weeks of each month. During working weeks, the schedule is Monday through Friday, 40 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct programmed maintenance and repairs to commercial swimming pool circulation, filtration, sanitation and chemistry control equipment for multiple facilities on an ongoing basis
- Water quality testing and reporting of results
- Work with product tech support to diagnose and resolve issues on commercial swimming pool equipment
- Identify and repair system piping leaks, vibrations, etc
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace faulty pumps and motors and fans
- Advise customers on the best preventative maintenance practices
- Complete paperwork and provide reports of all results and service items performed
- Follow safety procedures and client requests for site access
- Maintaining accurate records of services performed, chemical levels, and equipment maintenance.
- Coordinating, ordering, receiving, and installing warranty parts
- Operating and maintaining the company vehicle assigned.
- Driving to different customer locations.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in the Commercial Pool industry or similar Electrical/ Mechanical/ Service Technician positions
Physical Demands:
- Lifting frequently. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.
- Standing for extended periods, up to 6 hours per day.
- Walking, continuously.
- Climbing ladders while carrying weight
- Wearing personal protective gear correctly including glasses, gloves, respirator, hard hat and other PPE required.
Work Environment:
While performing the essential functions of this position, the plumber will be subject to both inside and outside environmental conditions including exposure to extreme cold, heat and humidity. Exposure to dusty, noisy jobsite conditions, fumes and some chemicals.

Compensation Range: $30.00 - $50.00, based on experience
Other Compensation: bonus eligible based on years of service, project and company overall performance
