Responsibilities:

Perform and document daily inspections of the building’s interior and exterior spaces

Perform general janitorial duties 

Tasks include, but are not limited to: 

• Mopping/buffing of hard service floors 

• Vacuuming  

• Dusting 

• Daily disinfection of common touch points
• Stock and maintain inventory of supplies and consumables 

•  Restroom cleaning & stocking 
• Trash collection and disposal 
• Spot cleaning as required 
• Provide cleaning to clinical areas following all related policies and procedures 
• Assist with general building repairs (ie: change light bulbs, restock consumables)  

Qualifications:

• HS Diploma or equivalent  
• 2-4 Years minimum experience in janitorial services.  Potential candidate would preferably have background cleaning in a clinical/healthcare environment.
•  Clean driving record 
•  Ability to read, write and understand English 
•   Excellent customer service skills in dealing with staff
•  Ability to operate a variety of common cleaning machines, i.e., vacuums, floor scrubbers/buffers, etc., as well as use common hand tools 
• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets 
•  Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
•  Reliability and Punctuality in all weather conditions 
• Preferable candidate will have basic technical abilities to send emails, fill out reports and use CMMS WO system. 
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 

Physical Demands:

• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., frequent walking, climbing stairs, standing, reaching, bending and stooping 

 Environment:

Environment includes office space as well as clinical/healthcare.
