Job Title: Assistant Project Manager (APM)
Responsibilities:
- Supporting Project Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating projects, ensuring they align with the established schedule and budget.
- Communication: Communication with field teams, Project Managers, internal teams, etc.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform tasks such as preparing invoices, building estimates, scheduling meetings, and maintaining project documents and reports. Requesting POs for vendors on behalf of the Project Manager.
- Tracking Progress: Monitor and report on project progress, ensuring timely completion of project phases. Job walks, virtual and in-person meetings, meeting customers and tracking progress on the jobsite.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data as required to support project decisions. Attend internal monthly meetings, billing, and projections.
- Task Management: Help coordinate and manage project tasks and deliverables.
- Additional Duties: Perform other duties assigned by the Project Manager in an orderly and efficient manner.
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to meet deadlines and possess flexibility to respond and adapt to changing schedules.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a fast paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Computer literate with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft office applications (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Acrobat
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work effectively in a close team environment.
- Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach to daily tasks.
- Assistant Project Manager or similar role and industry experience a plus.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
