Job Title: General Weekend Cleaner (NARA I)
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a General Weekend Cleaner in Washington, DC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Clean, stock and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, etc.)
- Perform maintenance activities
- Performing cleaning tasks and special projects
- Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Follow all health and safety regulations
- Abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and carrying.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as a janitor (5 yr experience)
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be willing to adhere to company policies
- Must be able to pass background check on credit and criminal
- Must be able to work any shift assigned
- Familiarity with SDS
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
