Job Title: Service Technician - Class I
Summary:
Assist with install, service, repair heating, ventilating, air conditioning systems, and related environmental-control systems. Utilize knowledge of heating and refrigeration theory, and pipefitting.

Class 1 Service Technician
Must be able to climb ladders, lift and carry 50 or more pounds, distinguish colors for electrical work and tolerate confined spaces. Work will involve heights and seasonal temperature extremes. Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required while performing tasks.

- This role is based out of the Columbia, SC office and serves the surrounding area including Charleston and Savannah.
Posting covers Class 1 Service Technician . Duties are based on the candidate’s qualifications below:
Class 1 Service Technician
- Changing Filters
- Cleaning Coils, Basic Maintenance
- Check and clean drains
- Hook up gauges to the system
- Provide excellent customer service
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Working knowledge of computer and tablets.
- Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong adaptability skills.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- Trade/Technical School certification or degree preferred.
- Experience level is based on technician classifications described above.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification
