Job Titles: Delivery & Warehouse (Temporary) -- Society Hill, SC

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Drives various size trucks to include tractor trailer, 1 to 3 ton flatbeds, box vans and pickup trucks
• Equipment, materials, parts, tools and supplies are loaded and unloaded by forklift, pallet and hand trucks and manually for smaller loads when using the smaller vehicles.
• Performs warehouse receiving duties, noting correct part or equipment numbers and damaged stock at the point of delivery.
• Uses material handling equipment, e.g., rolling cart and stairs, hand truck, pallet jack and forklift to gather and stage job materials on job racks and to place and pull stock as needed.
• Completes paperwork and packages (shrink wrapping, boxing and labeling) incorrectly shipped items/materials to return to the vendors.
• Completes daily log sheets and/or related documents accurately and reports all shipping, receiving, inventory and stock information.
• Organizes, cleans and maintains work areas.
• Repairs items such as work lights and installs replacements parts to work equipment and tools
  
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• A current valid “class A” CDL license and clean driving record
• Industrial Warehouse experience, preferred candidates will have utilized Warehouse/inventory software
  
  

Working Environment & Physical Demands:

• Must be able to complete hiring paperwork electronically through DocuSign
• May be required to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
• Must posses enough strength and stamina to perform the technical duties and essential functions as identified above
• Must be able to move in and around confided spaces and uneven areas
• Must have full range of motion consistent with age
• Must be able to climb and maintain balance ladders
• Must be able to adequately hear and respond to voice commands and alerts from other employees, alarms and other job-related noises
• Visual acuity, depth perception and color discrimination consistent with that required to work at heights and on uneven surfaces
• Safety/Steel toe shoes are required.
