Job Title: Service Order Dispatcher (NARA II)
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Service Order Dispatcher in College Park, MD. This position receives, records, and distributes work orders to service crews upon customers' requests for service records information, such as name, address, article to be repaired, or service to be rendered, prepares work order and distributes to service crew, schedules service calls and dispatches service crew.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Records all pertinent Service Call information into the CMMS, (Maximo).
- Distributes work requests to Supervisors to be issued to the craftsmen.
- Contacts service personnel by radio or phone to relay messages or divert work crews to an emergency or urgent situation.
- Issues PM tickets to the Chief Engineer or designee on a scheduled basis.
- Opens and closes service requests and PM tickets
- Monitors and update the Preventive Maintenance program.
- Generates Service call and PM reports.
- Assists with the procurement of parts, materials, and supplies.
- Input weekly payroll data into JD Edwards accounting program.
- Provide tracking reports on CMMS (MAXIMO)
- Tracking and filing projects.
Qualifications:
- Must possess the ability to type up to 40wpm
- Two (2) or more years of Office experience and data entry.
- Knowledge of CMMS is beneficial.
- Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
