Job Title: Warehouseman (NARA I)
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Warehouseperson in Washington DC. This position will work in the Warehouse and perform tasks associate with warehouse operations. This is an IUOE, Local99- represented position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Loading and unloading delivery trucks.
- Material inspections, stocking shelves.
- Marking and labeling stock, performing inventories, issuing parts and materials.
- Operating a forklift and pallet jacks.
- Documenting inventories with warehouse computer software.
- Ordering parts and materials, managing inventory in a computer database.
- Ensuring that the warehouse is clean and in order.
- Staging material for specific projects.
Qualifications:
- Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift 75 lbs.
- Forklift certification a plus.
- Prior experience with warehousing software/computer systems.
Physical Demands:
- Heavy lifting, stooping, and bending.
