Job Title : SIC Ironworker Helper (WILM CORN VW)
Job Summary : Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks Ironworker Helper for a project in Wilmington, NC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assist in installing, maintaining and operating all instruments and measuring devices needed for functional systems.
- Load, transport, unload and furnish experienced craft worker with materials, tools, equipment and supplies.
- Clean work area and restock supplies and materials as necessary.
- Perform work from scaffolding, ladders or other structures.
- Perform work overhead, at heights, beneath structures, and from various other positions as required by working conditions..
- Lift and carry objects of varying weights.
- Detect, recognize and respond to dangerous conditions or situations.
- Performs minor maintenance and cleaning activities of site, tools and equipment.
- Ability to verbally communicate directions from craft supervisors, and respond to questions from managers and fellow workers.
- Regular attendance is required.
- Significant travel may be required.
- Performs other duties as required
