Job Overview:
We are seeking a Junior Business Analyst, responsible for assessing our company and coming up with solutions to company operations. Their duties will include using data analytics to derive logistical conclusions and forecasts for implementing strategies that can improve business performance. As well as meetings with company employees, department leads, and officers to provide suggestions based on their analysis.
Responsibilities:
- Provide advice and support to the Sales Department regarding market intelligence and sales strategies, either by leading or collaborating on projects and tasks.
- Forecast and track marketing and sales trends to identify growth opportunities and risks.
- Prepare analytical reports with visual representations of data, translating complex findings into clear, actionable written text and/or presentations.
- Develop reports, dashboards, and visualizations to track and understand business performance using company software.
- Review and edit reports produced by other team members for accuracy and consistency.
- Manage sales forecasting, budget forecasting, and program analysis to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Conduct brand analysis, evaluating it in the context of overall business strategy and company objectives.
- Collaborate with purchasing and marketing teams to develop and optimize client programs.
- Participate in staff conference calls and meetings with vendors, customers, and other business partners to provide insights and proposals related to promotions, distribution, design, pricing, and overall sales strategies.
- Attend and contribute to company meetings, events, and community outreach activities as needed.
- Conduct online research to identify new business opportunities and support decision-making.
- Help set strategic goals in line with company expectations.
- Evaluate current business processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Highly skilled in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Power Analyzer for reporting and data analysis.

- Bilingual Preferred: Ability to communicate effectively in more than one language is a plus, enhancing customer interactions and broadening market reach.
Education and Experience:
- Required: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
- At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
