Your Role
As Principal Consultant you will work as part of Process Solutions, Global Scientific Leadership team to facilitate & drive thought leadership & scientific discussions with Industry Associations, Consortia & Regulators to influence future development & manufacturing practices and support the MilliporeSigma response to emerging market dynamics. You will also lead scientific engagement with key clients to address complex bioprocessing challenges and adapt to emerging requirements. Independently and with other internal & external stakeholders publish high impact scientific thought leadership content and present on behalf of the company at high profile scientific forums, to global subject matter experts, as a peer.
Who you are :
- Recognised as a subject matter expert & thought leader in your discipline area(s) in the biopharmaceutical community.
- Able to recognize, appraise and influence key industry trends in existing or novel therapeutic areas, and drive efforts to develop unique solutions.
- Proficient networker who embraces collaboration and can partner with multidisciplinary teams on high impact strategic global projects.
- A skilled communicator that can present on complex technical topics on behalf of the company to internal and external stakeholders from bench scientists to boardroom executives.
Location may be flexible in North America, including remote.
Travel expectations are 20-30%, primarily America’s region, but international travel to customer locations, scientific forums and Merck facilities worldwide will also be required.
