Job Overview:
We are a reputable maintenance and construction company operating in the vibrant Seattle Area. Our team is seeking a dedicated Maintenance and Construction Technician to join us in ensuring the upkeep and improvement of various apartment buildings throughout the region. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set, including general maintenance knowledge, construction experience, and a proactive attitude towards completing assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct inspections and identify maintenance issues to be addressed promptly.
  • Assist in minor construction projects, including renovations and repairs.
  • Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
  • Lift and move heavy objects, up to 50lbs, as necessary.
  • Interact with tenants in a friendly and professional manner, addressing their concerns and requests promptly.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute to various job sites across the Seattle Area.
  • General knowledge of maintenance and upkeep procedures.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Resourceful problem solver with strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Friendly and approachable demeanor towards tenants and colleagues.
  • Experience in construction or related field preferred.
  • Willingness to commit to a 90-day trial period with the opportunity for long-term employment based on mutual agreement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

  • construction and/or building maintenance: 1 year (Preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Seattle, WA (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Seattle, WA: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:
