Key Responsibilities :
- Land Research :
Conduct property research using online databases and legal documents to gather information on ownership, boundaries, zoning, and potential encumbrances.
Organize and maintain property files, including legal descriptions, appraisal reports, survey plats, and correspondence with property owners.
Assist in the valuation of properties by researching comparable sales, analyzing property characteristics, and contributing to appraisal reports.
Contact property owners to schedule property inspections, explain the acquisition process, and answer basic questions regarding the right of way project.
Accompany right of way agents on property inspections, documenting property conditions and potential issues.
Input property data into the right of way management system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Assist in creating reports summarizing property acquisition progress, including key metrics and potential challenges.
