Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fitness Instructor to join our team at a state-of-the-art health club. As a Fitness Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching group fitness classes, and creating a welcoming and motivating environment for our members. Duties
- Teach group fitness classes: Strength training, full-body fitness, cardio, yoga, or your 'specialty' to a diverse range of members.
- Conduct body mechanics assessments to identify areas of improvement for members.
- Develop and modify exercise routines to accommodate members with physical limitations or injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized workout area, adhering to health club standards.
- Promote fitness and fitness classes, and other health club services.
- Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends, techniques, and research to continuously improve classes and training sessions.
Skills
- Proficiency in a variety of group fitness classes or the one you 'specialize' in.
- Experience in personal training, with a focus on body mechanics and anatomy knowledge.
- Strong understanding of team training.
- Preferred: Certification in a recognized fitness certification program (e.g. ACE, NASM, NSCA) or equal experience in.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple clients at once.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire members to reach their fitness goals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
