Job Summary:
Emerald Gardens is seeking a Sales Associate to expand our wholesale cannabis distribution across Illinois. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background, industry knowledge, reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, over 21, and the ability to build relationships with dispensary buyers and industry professionals.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain relationships with dispensary buyers and industry contacts.
Generate new business opportunities through networking and outbound sales efforts.
Educate clients on Emerald Gardens’ product line, ensuring compliance with Illinois cannabis regulations.
Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
Maintain accurate sales records and reporting in compliance with state regulations.
Attend industry trade shows, events, and networking functions to promote Emerald Gardens.
Collaborate with marketing and production teams to ensure timely product distribution.
Stay up to date with Illinois cannabis laws, market trends, and competitor activity.
Qualifications:
Must be 21+ and able to pass an Illinois cannabis industry background check.
Illinois Responsible Vendor Training certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring).
2+ years of sales experience (cannabis industry experience preferred).
Strong understanding of Illinois cannabis laws and regulations.
Proven ability to meet and exceed sales quotas.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Proficiency in CRM software and sales tracking tools.
Ability to travel within Illinois for client meetings and events.
