X-Ray Tech
Shift :
Days, 8a-4 : 30p, 8x5, 40hrs per week, weekdays
Length : 13 weeks
Requirements : 1 Year ExperienceBLSARRTGE C-arms and Fuji rooms & portables requiredAble to show at least 10 hours of training in Fluroscopy including radiation safety / dose controlShifts : 5x8's Weekdays (hospital 3 days and ULMC Imaging Center 2 days) Imaging Center is on campus
We support ER, OR, Pediatrics, NICU, CCU and a general inpatient population. We also support several outpatient clinics including orthopedics, neurosurgery, cardiology and primary care.
General X-ray, portable X-ray, fluoroscopic procedures, C-arm procedures in OR with Ortho, General, Urology and Neuro surgery, Trauma.
Tech needs to be able to show at least 10 hours of training in Fluroscopy including radiation safety / dose control. It's an Alaska requirement but there is no specific license or certification.
GE C-arms and Fuji rooms & portables required
BLS, ARRT required
Guaranteed Hours
8 Rule : 40.00 hours per 1 week
10 Rule : 40.00 hours per 1 week
12 Rule : 36.00 hours per 1 week
Comments : All OR nurses and OR Techs on 12 hour shifts are scheduled for an additional 4 hours to help cover breaks and lunches. 12 hour OR nurses and OR Techs will be guaranteed 40 hours per week.
