Pay: $18.95 - $21.00
Monday - Thursday 10:00am - 2:30pm

Sunday 10:30am - 7:30pm (estimated)

We offer:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Greeting Customers: Hostesses/Hosts welcome guests as they arrive, offering a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
- Seating Guests: They assign tables based on availability, guest preferences, and the flow of the restaurant.
- Managing Reservations: They may take phone calls or manage reservation systems to ensure a smooth seating process.
- Answering Questions: Provide basic information about the menu, specials, or restaurant policies.
- Handling Waitlists: If the restaurant is busy, the hostess may manage a waiting list and inform customers of estimated wait times.
- Assisting with Customer Needs: They might offer assistance to guests while they wait or direct them to the restrooms, etc.
- As needed - Takes residents’ and guests’ food orders
- As needed -Answers residents’ and guests’ menu questions.
- Maintains safe and sanitary conditions for dining rooms and staff work stations.
- Performs cleaning assignments.
- As needed - Sets and clears dining room tables. Maintains work stations.
- Follows proper food handling techniques and maintain standards of quality for all dining areas
Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to perform simple arithmetic.
- Courteous, gracious, and tactful. Pleasant, cheerful and service-oriented.
- Genuine interest in working with older adults.
- Ability to work well with others; team-oriented.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Neat and professional in appearance.
- Available to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Regular, dependable, and reliable attendance.
- Excellent English communications skills both verbal and written.
