Vegetative Tech
SUMMARY
The Vegetative Tech position works with a team of 3-6 Cultivation Technician in daily duties related vegetative cultivation. The Vegetative Tech position oversees the transfer of clones into veg, the transfer of veg plants into flower after harvest, plant work including topping, pruning, defoliating, cleaning, and sanitization of the room. Mother plant care. The vegetative Tech are also responsible for using Metrc in the performance of certain compliance tasks.
Chain of Command
The Vegetative Tech position reports directly to the Vegetation Lead and secondarily to the Assistant Cultivation Manager. They will also collaborate with members from other departments as it relates to Vegetative plant cultivation.
Must be 21 or over to work with Emerald Mountain Labs.
Shifts are 8-hours 5 days per week.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversight of Vegetative Canopy in collaboration with cultivation leadership
- Oversight of all cultural practices in vegetative
- Creating new and follow preexisting SOP’s pertaining to vegetative plants.
- Must be willing to mentor and train new employees.
- Recording daily disposal of all plant waste in Metrc.
- Transfer completion for new plants entering veg in Metrc.
- Record removal of plants and phase change in Metrc.
- Maintaining a sterile room by regular cleanings and inspections.
- Work well in a team setting.
- Work effectively as a team and with other departments to meet goals.
- Must be able to carry or lift 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work weekends or over time to make sure all tasks are complete.
- Precise attention to detail
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
