Responsibilities of an RN Unit Manager:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of your assigned unit, ensuring compliance with care standards and regulations.
- Supervise, train, and mentor nursing staff to foster a supportive and collaborative environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans tailored to resident needs.
- Perform assessments, monitor patient progress, and ensure quality care through effective management.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely reporting in accordance with facility policies and state regulations.
- Promote a positive and caring culture that aligns with our facility’s mission and values.
Qualifications of an RN Unit Manager:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania.
- Previous experience in long-term care, with prior leadership experience preferred.
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to assess, plan, and implement care.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
