Responsibilities of a Scheduler:
- Coordinate and manage staffing schedules for nursing and support staff.
- Ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained across all shifts.
- Collaborate with department managers to fill open shifts and manage overtime effectively.
- Monitor attendance records and manage time-off requests.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of staffing schedules and personnel data.
- Assist in recruiting and onboarding new staff members.
- Communicate effectively with staff regarding schedule changes and updates.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and facility policies related to staffing.
Qualifications of a Scheduler:
- Experience in staffing coordination, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
- Responsible, ready, and eager to work
