What are the responsibilities and job description for the Employee Dining Server position at Emerald Queen Casino?
The Employee Dining Server is responsible for providing internal guest service to employees of the casino. Duties include serving employee meals in the employee dining room, pulling food from warmers, testing food for proper temperature settings, cutting fruits and vegetable and ensuring the foods are stocked and replenished at all times. Additional duties are to ensure the kitchen area is kept neat and clean at all times while promoting a positive work environment. Performs additional job duties as assigned by department manager.
Pay starts at $18.49/hr and increases to $19.09/hr with successful completion of 90-day orientation period. This full-time position features excellent employer-paid medical, dental, vision and life insurance benefits.
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
Experience & Requirements:
- Must have excellent guest service
- Previous food service experience is required
- Must be able to follow directions
- Must have a valid Washington State food handler’s card
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand for longer than 8 hours
- The ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Mobility to climb stairs on a routine basis
- Must be able to tolerate a smoke filled environment
Additional Requirements:
- Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard and holidays
Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen and obtain a Class IIIB license as required by the Puyallup Tribal Gaming Regulatory Office and the Washington State Gaming Commission.
