Operator/Packing/Material Handler

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
• Ensure the smooth and efficient production of high-quality products.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify issues, and carry out basic troubleshooting.
• Adhere to safety protocols and quality standards at all times.
• Collaborate with the team to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Pack finished products according to specifications and customer orders.
• Assist in loading and unloading shipments as needed.
• Handle incoming and outgoing materials with a focus on safety and efficiency.
• Utilize forklifts and other equipment to move materials within the facility.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely material flow.

Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude to operate and maintain machinery and equipment.
• BASIC MATH SKILLS FOR MEASUREMENTS AND CALCULATIONS ARE REQUIRED.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Physical ability to lift and handle 55 lb. bags as part of the material handling process.
• Dependable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to the job.
• Candidates with prior experience in graphite or metal industries will be given preference.

Compensation:

• The pay for these positions ranges from $16.00 to $19.00 per hour, based on experience.
