Job Title : Senior Mainframe Developer
Location : Northeast Ohio (On-site required, Remote work possible 3 or 4 days per week)
Employment Type : Contract or W-2 (US Citizens only for W-2 employment due to government clearance requirements)
Job Description :
We are actively seeking a Senior Mainframe Developer with extensive experience in IDMS to join our team. This role will involve working with other team members to support a wide range of applications and data processes, with a focus on financial and manufacturing data.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide ongoing maintenance and support for newly added components
- Collaborate with team members to ensure the smooth functioning of mainframe systems and applications
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to COBOL, IDMS, JCL, CHANGEMAN, CICS, and VSAM
- Contribute to the design and development of mainframe solutions
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide updates on project status
