Sr. Network Engineer
Information Technology plays a crucial role in our client's ability to deliver best-in-class network services. We are looking for a talented Network Engineer to join a cutting-edge infrastructure team. This team supports the foundational systems off which the business runs today, with guidance from the technical architects and senior engineers.
Network Engineer Responsibilities :
- Implement, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot all physical / virtual networking infrastructure and related operating systems, supporting services and hardware / software.
- Assist in the configuration, maintenance, monitoring and support of all physical / virtual server environments, VMWare, Linux, and Windows Based Systems.
- Configure, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot routing and switching equipment.
- Assist in planning, engineering, and monitoring the security configurations for the protection of the network systems.
- Assist in the support and maintenance if the network monitoring system, alerts, updates, etc.
- Maintain firewalls, virtual private networks, and web protocols.
- Implement, test, and manage vulnerability remediation activities that support security objectives and Enterprise Systems.
- Perform threat hunting activities of system logs, events, and alerts from all collected systems and architectures
- Comply with all security policies and procedures to ensure that the highest level of system and data confidentiality, integrity and availability is maintained. Maintain endpoint protection
- Perform disaster recovery / business continuity planning, preparation, and execution.
- Evaluate and recommend vendor products relating to network and security solutions.
- Create and maintain documentation for network, security, and server related systems and hardware / software.
- Perform project management activities on all size technical services projects and support all phases of project's development life cycle.
- Provide after hour support for daily business needs.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
