They are looking to add a Medical Receptionist to their Sherwood location!
Overview
As a Medical Receptionist , you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient experiences! You will be responsible for welcoming patients, scheduling appointments, and handling various administrative tasks to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of their clinic.
Responsibilities
- Schedule patient appointments and procedures according to established protocols
- Register all new patients into the electronic medical record (EMR) system
- Obtain and verify patient demographics and insurance information
- Scan and update patient insurance cards and driver's licenses, including capturing and attaching patient photos as needed
- Notify clinical staff of patient arrivals
- Prepare patient charts for upcoming appointments by reviewing medical records and collecting necessary information
- Collect co-pays, deductibles, and other out-of-pocket expenses at the time of visit and issue receipts as required
- Answer patient inquiries and provide general information about the clinic and services
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications and Skills
Schedule : Monday - Friday (8 : 00AM - 5 : 00PM)
Compensation : $19.00 Hourly
