We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grounds Attendant to join our Dynamic Team in the hospitality industry. As a Grounds Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the aesthetic appeal and cleanliness of our outdoor areas, ensuring that guests have an enjoyable experience in our beautiful surroundings. This role is essential for ensuring that our hotel's public spaces are consistently clean, welcoming, and maintain our guest’s high standards.
You will play a vital role in providing excellent service to our guests by keeping common areas like walkways, parking lots and shared facilities, spotless and organized. Your efforts will significantly contribute to creating a pleasant atmosphere for our guests, enhancing their overall experience. You will work closely with the Housekeeping Team to maintain cleanliness and hygiene, uphold the hotel's aesthetic appeal, and respond to guest inquiries or requests promptly and courteously. Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain all common areas of the hotel, including lobbies, walkways, parking lots and beaches.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Conduct regular inspections of common areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
- Remove debris, leaves, and trash from outdoor and common areas to maintain cleanliness.
- Support the setup and takedown of outdoor furniture and equipment for events or gatherings.
- Collaborate with Team Members to ensure efficient workflow and high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous experience in grounds and common areas or a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact with guests and Team Members effectively.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and move furniture or equipment as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies, as well as safety regulations associated with their use.
