The Director of Program Management will lead a team of Program Manager’s and is responsible for the overall “Customer Experience” the team delivers to all customers within portfolio.
The Director is responsible for the following:
- Hire, develop and retain high performing team.
- Drive customer Growth Strategy and Relationship Development.
- Achieve superior customer satisfaction.
- Execution of tactical business processes (i.e. targeted inventory turns)
- Commercial / Contract Management (I,e, forecasting, pricing and contract management)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Leadership:
- Hire, develop and retain top talent.
- Member of site leadership team.
- Assess and develop each member of the team.
- Collaborate with leaders across business to achieve shared goals.
Growth Strategy & Relationship Development:
- Responsible for the development and execution of the “Account Plan” / Growth Strategy”.
- Understands Emerald offerings and directs the customer appropriately towards additional or alternative Emerald services.
- Responsible for revenue forecasting by account to achieve best in class on forecast to actual revenue metrics.
- Responsible for RFQ / Quotation/ Proposal process. Will facilitate timely quote submissions, setting customer component standards and ensures pricing integrity.
- Responsible for Opportunity Sales Process.
Customer Experience and Satisfaction:
- Responsible for Customer Satisfaction (On-time Delivery, Quality, Communication)
- Gains customer’s confidence as a trusted partner by achieving continuity of supply.
- Adjusts commits to capacity and material availability with ongoing customer communication.
Tactical Business Execution:
- Serve as the primary site liaison between the company and the customer to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Responsible for tactical day-to-day business execution.
- Ensure optimized inventory by facilitating excess/obsolete reporting to achieve targeted inventory turns.
- Manages cross functional teams consisting of production, engineering, test, QA, materials and planning.
- Understands all aspects required to launch a new program or order.
- Responsible for order management and acknowledgement, change management and resulting scope creep, customer reporting, communication, and business issue resolution.
- Responsible for the tracking relevant metrics and drive action items to end results both internally and externally.
Responsible for monthly revenue attainment. - Conduct team meetings, documents issues, and proactively keep internal and external customers informed of status and overall status of the program.

QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in related field with 10 years in the field of Program Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum of 2 years leading teams.
- Knowledge of manufacturing, engineering and technical services
- Experience driving customer account development.
- Strong customer relations and problem-solving skills are a must.
- Experience in managing customer revenue growth and commercial management/execution.
- Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Some travel may be required.
