Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:
- Electronic Manufacturing: Oversee and optimize electronic manufacturing processes to ensure high-quality production.
- Mechanical Design: Utilize mechanical engineering fundamentals to create, analyze, and improve manufacturing systems and processes.
- 3D Design: Develop 3D designs and models using CAD software to support manufacturing and tooling efforts.
- GD&T Experience: Implement Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles in design and manufacturing processes.
- Tool Making: Design and build custom tools for manufacturing processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- 3D Printing: Leverage 3D printing technologies for prototyping and production to streamline manufacturing.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve manufacturing issues swiftly to maintain production flow.
- Design for Manufacturing: Apply design principles that facilitate manufacturing processes, reducing costs and improving product quality.
- Robotics: Implement and maintain robotic systems to enhance manufacturing capabilities and efficiency.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment to maximize uptime.

Qualifications of the Manufacturing Engineer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years in manufacturing engineering, with a focus on electronic manufacturing and mechanical design.
- Advanced knowledge of 3D design software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Proficiency in GD&T and tool making.
- Strong understanding of 3D printing technology and applications.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience in equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and statistical analysis.
- Knowledge of quality control methodologies.
