Emerald Technologies has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Lead/Supervisor to join its Saline Lectronics team! This position will lead team meetings, assign daily tasks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams on inspections and RMAs. Drive RMA resolution and manage team supplies. Ensure 5S and housekeeping in the quality department, maintain visual data displays, and work with managers to resolve issues and foster a positive environment. Oversee team training, compliance, and updates to QAI and sampling plans.

Responsibilities of the Quality Lead/Supervisor:
- Strong Knowledge of Quality Management Systems (QMS): Proficiency in QMS standards such as ISO 9001, or similar certifications. Understanding of continuous improvement methods like Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen.
- Experience in Electronics Manufacturing: In-depth knowledge of electronics assembly processes, including PCB assembly, SMT, through-hole, testing, and final product assembly. Familiarity with industry-specific standards like IPC-A-610.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to investigate, analyze, and resolve quality-related issues, including root cause analysis using tools like FMEA (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), Fishbone Diagrams, and 5 Whys. Working with cross-functional team and problem solving
- Leadership and Team Management: Experience leading and managing quality teams, data management, organizational skills, providing training, conducting performance evaluations, and ensuring clear communication within the team to maintain high-quality standards.
- Customer Focus and Communication: Ability to interact at all levels to understand their quality expectations, resolve customer complaints, and provide feedback on quality improvement initiatives. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
- Risk Management and Mitigation: Ability to assess quality risks in the manufacturing process and develop strategies to minimize defects, scrap, and rework. Familiarity with risk management tools like FMEA and Control Plans.
- Change Management and Continuous Improvement: Experience implementing continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment, managing changes in processes, and ensuring alignment with quality objectives

Qualifications of the Quality Lead/Supervisor:
- 3 years of quality experience in supervisory role. Prior experience or knowledge of electronic circuit board manufacturing processes is a plus, but not required.
Detail-oriented, team player with strong communication (reading and writing) skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, manage team directions, and adhere to company policies.
- Proficient in using inspection documentation and computers for data entry, labor tracking, and material management.
- Comfortable working with small components.
